We are glad you found us and joined us here. We are happy to help fellow riders whenever we can. Just to add tips on tyre selection, one needs to also consider the tyre profile beside the size.

For example, the standard Ninja 250 front tyre is 110/70 which means the size (width) is 110 mm and the profile is 70. This means the height (thickness) of the tyre when installed on the front wheel is 70% of its width = 70% of 110 mm = 0.7 X 110mm = 77 millimeter.

The standard rear tyre is 130/70, means it is 130 mm wide and its thickness = 70% of 130 mm = 91 mm.

So, if you are considering to use 150/60 for the rear, this means that the width is 150 mm and the thickness is equal to 0.6X150mm = 90mm. This means you actually lower the rear by 1 mm (compared to the original tyre's thickness).

And if you select 120/60 for the front, the width is 120 mm and the thickness is 0.6X120mm =72 mm. This means you will lower the bike's front by 5mm.

On the other hand, if you choose to fit a 120/70 on the front, the thickness is 0.7X120mm = 84 mm. So you would actually lift the front of the bike up by 7 mm compared to its factory standard tyre.

A lot of us use the above combinations of 120/60 for front and 150/60 for rear tyre, which means we lower the front by 5mm and the rear by 1 mm. This lowers the bike's seat measured from the ground as well as changing the "pitch" of the bike and changes the bike's agility for better cornering but if you lower the front too much, it may compromise its stability for straight riding because the angle of the front suspension changes quite significantly.

From personal experience using the above combinations, I find the bike to be more pleasant and controllable. One other tip to remember is that standard (touring) larger tyre is heavier in weight therefore considering "radial" (sport/sport-touring) type tyre usually gives lighter weight to minimize the effect on the bike's power.

There are a few other aspects that should be considered such as the rider's height, riding style, tyre compound characteristic, etc but it need to be noted that depending on the tyre size/profile you choose, you may change the overall diameter of the wheel with the tyres installed. As our speedometer counts the revolution/turns per minute, this may cause the speedometer reading to be slightly incorrect.

Sorry if this is too lengthy but I hope you can benefit most from the inputs on tyre selection.

hi welcome bro! i think most of the ninja 250's has a top speed about 160 km/h or maybe more depending on the riders weight, wind, condition of the road etc. the first step on increasing the velocity of your ninja, hehe no doubt, you gotta change your exhaust system i'd recommend a full exhaust system so you can get a real a kick out of it hehe but its up to you though. if you only want to change the sound of your exhaust, just a buy a slip on. after you bought an exhaust system, you ought to buy a jetting kit cause your carbs needs to flow more fuel cause of your freeflow exhaust CMIIW hehe. thats all i know, i hope it helped

helllo brader . . usually the top speed of this bike is between 160 - 170 kph (carb ver.) if u want to gain more velocity , we recommend u to swap th stock exhaust with the fullsyst exhaust ( its better than the slip on) , use the jetting kit ( dynojet/factpro) , use the replacement filter ( K&N etc) or make it into opened filter . . that are the mods we usually did to gain more power .. furthermore u can upgrade the ignition parts ( racing coil& TCI ) or change the gear sprocket that depend by ur needs . . u can find those parts above here https://cyber-ninja250r.indonesianforum.net/bursa-aftermarket-ninja-250r-f23/ hohohoho . . enjoy broder , ,

in here, its about US$ 4900 - US$ 5000, depending dollar currency.

for some parts, U can collect some member in Ur forum who have some interest and contact Japan/USA vendor.
e.g. for some exhaust, they can give special price if U bought 5 to 10 units.
